I believe that marketing should be the first thing that comes to mind once you're ready to let people know that you are running a business. Making your presence known online and offline is very important in order to have people talking about and your brand.

Host a Launch Party
This is a great time and place to get the press, influencers and potential investors and sponsors in one place and talk about nothing but your products. This is also a great way to do some market research to see what people think of your products and/or service.
If you are doing it on a small scale, invite influencers and potential customer who enjoy attending free events. Take plenty of pictures and make sure that everyone is posting online as much as possible to generate a buzz.
Sponsor events
Sponsoring events is great for target marketing. You already know how many people will be there so you can be ready with business cards. Not only that it is great for brand recognition and brand association as you will be linked with the event for a lengthy period of time (from marketing the event to the day of the event) you will then reach your audience on the day of the event. You don't necessarily have to sponsor a huge event. It could be something local if you are a local business. You can sponsor by offering your products, or paying to sponsor the event.
Link up with other local business owners.
Find out who the other local business owners in your area are and introduce yourself. Engage with them and see whether they would be willing to put flyers for your business on their premises. This works if you're local but also online, speak with other brands, share their posts, comment on them and thank them if they share your posts too. Facebook and Instagram have stories that last up to 24 hrs if you do not want to leave their details on your profile.
Email Marketing
Email always stays an effective form of marketing for reaching your targeted potential customers. Email marketing is all about creating an attractive template with your company profile, images. It should be sweet and small in quantity. in other words K.I.S.S. (Keep It Short and Sweet) it to K.I.L.L. IT (Keep It Long and Lengthy)
If you are about to send your first email to your customer, you must create an impression with your email look with attractive images, readable content, optimised landing pages etc.
Also with anything like email marketing please always take into account data protection and GDPR.

Search Engine Optimisation
Search Engine Optimisation, is simply how high you rank on Google and other search engines like Safari (still google), Bing and Yahoo. But Google is always the first place people go when they are looking for something (i.e. just google it). Do some research on the topic and find out how you can implement that on social media posts, blogs and your website.
Finding keywords you can use hashtag words and also google keyword planner. The higher you rank on Google the easier it will be for your customers to find you.
